Ok, I automatically know just from how chapter 27 starts that everything will be fixed instantly. Diana will keep the library open, Amanda will offer her a job at the school library, and Lucie will die in a car accident or something so she can get together with Aidan. It's very predictable.
That doesn't mean I wasn't instantly relieved the moment I clocked onto it, esp after chp 26, which showed how sad Jess felt.

GOOD GOOGLY MOOGLY I WAS RIGHT WE DID GET A DANCE SCENE tho it did subvert my expectations!
The dance scene wasn't the main romantic scene because Jess is having a hard time and not feeling well, and Aidan is stressed the frick out for Maisie. Their scene outside of the barn was the main tea. It was handled well with Jess and Aidan being more comfortable sharing personal info with eachother. And the walk home CUTEE
