There's just a weird thing with sex in here, and it's made worse by the facts that it's always the women it deals with, and that they're always 17. Why 17, btw? Bc 16 is too young and THAT'S weird, and 18 is too old? idc if im making it sound weird; it already is weird. Why is every single girl a fcking teenager?

Also, is every human male antagonist gonna be a rapist? Additionally, am I honestly gonna have to sit through an attempted sexual assault on every female main character we have? Who all just happen to be teenagers? Also, yes, this is a post-apocalyptic world, but the fact that Lina was almost gang-raped and seemingly brushed that off like nothing is really weird. Same thing with Doris.

1. I don't get the "villain just attacked us, but we're gonna stand around here talking until another villain attacks us bc we haven't moved from this place" thing.
2. Lina's characterization is confusing me. Are we gonna get ANY female character that ISN'T an irrational, self-preservation-less teenager?

nah the way Doris is written is weird. First you had the whole disrobing thing, then you had the strong female character being overshadowed by the constant cliche swooning she did, and now the "I can't be strong and hold my own anymore because I fell in love with "someone I could depend on" thing. What?

I do wish the writing would stop telling us shit. This guy just described how the bonds will literally strangle and cut into this 8yo's flesh, and then right afterward, the writing tells US: 'What a heartless tactic." Well, no shit. I didn't need you to tell me that. It's been going on with the characters, too.
