Status Updates From Lady Chatterley's Lover

I can’t anymore. I’m so bored that I don’t care about Lady Chatterly OR her lover. DNF at 36%.

I’m wearing nothing but fur and perfume and eating strawberries and chocolate and drinking red and Lawrence is speaking of the ingeniousness of women — what a night

Ok, chapter 4 though… I understand that this book is almost 100 years old and Mr. Lawrence is trying to portray a room full of aristocratic prats talking out their a$$es just to hear themselves speak, but if there’s anything that would have made me DNF this book it’s this chapter 🙄
