Boule de Suif: holy fuck that was really good. for a short story, this had the depth of a full novel. while this story had a pretty slow start and I had no idea where it was headed, it very quickly engaged and riled me, and by the end my jaw had dropped and I was seething. really frigging good, excited for more of this Guy's stories
