I'm super unsure of the direction this story is going in. I feel like the book is trying to make me doubt the mom, but I'm never going to question her. And we have no information on the alleged serial killer

Every singular event and interaction that happens is followed by paragraphs of monologue explaining why it occurred. I’m finishing this book because I’m too far in not to but this writing style is so unnatural and contrived. When they tell authors to ‘show and not tell’ this should be the prime example of what not to do it’s driving me insane peace and love

This writing is so bland every bit of information is spoon fed it’s pissing me off

It's going good so far it definitely has me invested and I am loving learning about the characters and the mystery that's going on
