I know this is a fanfic but it’s just expanding on everything Rhys says himself in ACOMAF, so I’d call it canon. And when you really expand on the little bits of feelings that he admits to in the original, you understand just how much of a hot mess he is and how he’s in an impossible situation. I love him.
