I’m enjoying the story but feel a disconnect between the narrators and their accents.

I feel like the female narrator uses a slavic accent for the mmc but the male narrator doesn’t.

I also get distracted by what sounds like hard candy in the male narrator’s section and the different inflections he uses in the same section.
