Status Updates From The Absolute Book

DNF.

Gave up. I really wanted to like this book. I really really did and I kept thinking I would be more involved. But given that it’s 600+ pages I just can’t devote enough time to reading a book that I’m already not into it 166 pages in. I hate abandoning a book. But I did it.

Uhhhh whoever compared this book the His Dark Materials needs to have a word with themselves (and apologize to Pullman) because what???
