This book hooked me when it started to criticize True Detective in a thinly veiled way 😈

I can't believe that the thing mentioned in paragraph 2 of the synopsis hasn't happened yet 🥲

While engaging, the story is not all there so far. I can see how he's lining up things and illustrating how easily someone can be seduced by the right but it feels somewhat out of sync with reality. Maybe it's because it was written before the pandemic and before we knew just how bad things could really get.
