No panic, I don't plan to go into the EOB (Evil Overlord Busyness).
I think we already have enough of those fuckers around in this world.
This book is hilarious and funny.

Omg, this is hilarious! I'm chuckling and snorting my way through quicker than I read anything in a long time! The perfect book after my grimmer than grim last week of reading. Not for anyone looking for a serious book, but perfect if you're in for some shark and fun!

She growled and started stripping out of her armor.
“You’re a woman, Grim?” Dickhead said with a note of surprise and betrayal in his voice.
“No, Nuk, I’m a catapult. Why the fuck do you think I always go off by myself to take a piss?”
“Shit I don’t know. How should I know? You never take your mask off.”
“What, never?” I asked. “How does she eat?”

You’ll find two kinds of Evil Overlord in this world. The first kind are those who are made, much like myself. We are not destined for Utter Domination; instead, we build our dark futures one blood-soaked brick at a time, as it were.
The second kind, I swear to you, seem to be born for a dark and glorious future, as if the universe looked down on our shit world and said ‘Let’s make it worse.’

My duties were few. Chief among them was to stay out of Viker’s sight as much as possible, which was a simple matter. The kirk had an abundance of hiding spots, unlike the single-room hovel where I’d been born & raised. I soon discovered the rafters of the kirk were practically made for me. It’s amazing, really, how seldom people look up in their lives.

I have been saying this for years! People never look up.

You won’t find too many Dark Lords who will admit to humble origins; mostly, I suspect, because they think it gives them some sort of intriguing aura if they hint (or boldly lie) about a special lineage, a noble if shadowed bloodline that they can trace their worth back to.
I’ve never felt the need. How is anyone going to look down on my common ancestry from their knees or a mass grave? The angle is all wrong.

This is going to be a 5 star read.
