making a resolution mid-january to read more non-fiction during this year, or at least listen to more of it

I knew the author would likely be a liberal "feminist" but oh my god. I would kill to be able to read a book about women's experiences without men being shoehorned in. it's not very progressive to take the spotlight off of female issues to favor those of the male sex, is it?
