I love this series and this only makes me want to read more of Cherryh’s works. The atevi as a species are so well written and uniquely foreign (har). Most aliens are more often than not humans with an exterior change but not them. And the politicking in this one, well, lets say Im glad we’re back in the thick of the Atevi Associations. I love it. Definitely onto the next one

Banichi bluuuushed, so damn cute. I love Bren and his staff. Can I just move to the ateva world, which surprisingly has not been named anything accept the earth of the ateva.

Wow this is moving fast. The coup against the pretender didnt take long, guess Tabini isn’t nearly as unpopular as it would seem. The Guild has, at least, come to its senses so this should be easy clean-up. But Murini is alive, so that’s an issue

Really enjoying it so far. Cajeiri is being a little trickster but he’s learning a lot too from good ol Bren

I forgot how long chapters are in this book x.x
