Mi fantasía erótica es visitar Tubinga, subir a la torre y mirar el río. Llevo al menos dos meses avanzar con esta biografía del poeta, al que llegué tras una súbita aparición que movió mi mapa. Hoy le escribo poemas a Holderlin, sus poemas son alucinantes. Leo su versión en castellano.

It's obvious in retrospect, but it's never occurred to me until studying the biography of the poet and reviewing his work systematically that at the highest level Hölderlin's career is defined by the failure of his poetic vocation. He never achieved maturity or mastery.
