Alright gotta try and get back into the swing of things here. Was a pretty decent chapter nothing supper revolutionary that I wasn’t aware of, seems like a decent book overall easy reading if I remember correctly, saved some decent quotes

Interesting anecdotes about how similar chattel slavery is to wage slavery, but clear about which is worse and why.

Interesting chapter discussing how many different people in many different places came up with the same intersectional conclusions about capitalism and wage slavery as a whole.
Interesting to learn about “a factory girl” and not surprising to hear that in many instances they were doubly expected to take care of the family, and also garner wages (often before that was expected of men) with basically zero rights.

Nothing particularly revolutionary, but it was just the intro. And the book seems approachable and decent in its self synopsis.

Just the intro basically. Seems like any other leftist book so far
