I think what’s missing from this book is actual, descriptive world building. Instead of saying someone walked in and the dog jolted awake, a better way to put it would be to say that the movement jolted the dog awake because that connects the two ideas. Everything just feels so discombobulated and like this are happening but not happening. Not very satisfying

It’s getting hard to get through this because literally nothing is happening beside the beefing and random small town personalities which are good but having no direction is a big minus

Literally nothing has happened, only dog puns and slight alliterations

The amount of Dalmatian puns stuffed into the first 3 chapters should be studied, this is corny but in a fun way so far
