Oh, good (sarcasm). Not only does the author add things we shouldn’t know because they happen out of view of the main character in a first person narrative, he has now decided to jump narratives to another character’s first person view without warning. I’m getting close to DNFing this...

So, right off the bat, I’m going to make a complaint. When the author chooses to write in first person, they are making the choice to tell the story from the main characters viewpoint. Therefore, things that happen out of sight of the main character goes unknown. But apparently this author has decided that rule doesn’t apply to them, and it’s actually quite jarring to the storyline.
