So far, Bond is much more easy-going and quippy than he was in Casino Royale, the writing has improved a lot since the last book as well, but the story has taken quite a fall in quality. Mr Big isn’t that interesting once you learn who he is, Solitaire shows promise to be interesting but also is much less engaging than Vesper, at least Leiter is much more involved this time, although adding not much to be fair
