Status Updates From All These Bodies

What was the significance of Marie asking for Michael to check her stepfather’s body? We never ended up seeing the body, so it was a weird detail to add. Why did she ask the vampire not to touch it? Why did she, as a human, have to drink blood?

Most importantly, HOW DID HER ACTUALLY BEING A MURDERER NOT AFFECT ANYONE’S AFFECTION TOWARD HER?? Michael isn’t at all put off by this? He’s still in love? Wtf.

What the hell is Pilson’s problem? I legitimately think he might be a pedophile.

I don’t get why Michael cares so much about Marie. She always refuses to tell him anything, and doesn’t have much of a personality. I don’t feel like they’re friends, even though they’re supposed to be.

But Percy is fantastic. Love him.

I can’t believe Michael just let those boys off the hook for ATTEMPTED MURDER. Wtf

Why is Michael not asking any good questions? Like if the vampire murdered her parents, why did she follow him around? Why did she stop letting him feed on her? Why does that mean he had to fully drain several people instead? And most importantly, if she was supposed to drink the Carlsons’ blood, how did it end up all over her instead?

I’ve already said it, but DEAR LORD Pilson is unbearable. So annoying.

Marie is kinda driving me nuts. She claimed that she’ll tell Michael everything, but then refuses to talk about almost anything. “I didn’t want to start like this,” “I don’t want to talk about that.” Girl, you have free rein to tell the story any way you want, starting at any point, SO TALK. Michael’s way too lenient with her.

And what the hell is DA Pilson’s DEAL? He’s such a whiny incel, ffs.

Definitely an intriguing mystery. How could they be so peacefully drained like that, and how did she get soaked in their blood? I’m assuming it’s gotta have some kind of supernatural element to it, but what? Vampires? I wouldn’t be surprised if it was just her, and she had no accomplice at all.

Michael is likable. Can’t wait for the actual interview to start. We’ve harped enough on the murders themselves.
