Status Updates From Trois

A full-on melodrama, often preachy and with a rushed and predictable resolution. The biggest letdown was seeing sensitive topics treated in such a heavy-handed, thoughtless way. That being said, the character work, their complex dynamics, and the narrative flow shifting between past and present completely drew me in, and I couldn’t put it down. 3 stars
