One big issue about this book:
Writers refuse to talk about details and consistently promise to talk about everything in detail later while wasting first few chapters boring readers by scratching the surface.
Why not just stepping in and getting our hands dirty with details from the beginning?
I know this approach, it's the academical approach followed in universities.
I hate it.

Chapter 1 was a confusing introduction to ARM processors and ARM Assembly. Not much confusion for me of course, but beginners should consider another textbook for learning number bases.
Soon to judge anyway, there might be good stuff yet to come in later chapters.

I wish I had just started learning computer architecture from this book.

This is a very well written technical manual so far.
