I liked that Emmy was a secret love child between a royal demon and an angel. I liked the idea of her guardians. What I’m not a fan of is the teacher student romances that is going to occur later in the book. I would have avoided this book all together. The sexual tension was smoking and I was into that.

This is my opinion because I’m sure others would love this book but I didn’t like the premise. First of all, I hate wrong person situations because that gets messy fast. Also, I just don’t like the “X factor” type of show the band is in. Joely seems really boring and I didn’t like that she got kicked out of her dance academy.

Also, I know this author is from Scotland but it irked me that this book is set in the US but it is written with British English. The writing was just juvenile. Here’s an example, “I spot a pair of black wedge sandals that will go perfectly with the dress, so I decide to buy them as well,” *barf. Also, the fmc had a great life but then all of the sudden she wanted a new adventure, left home

I wanted to DNF. The writing style was wayyy too telling and not showing. There was no chemistry between a hole and the guys. The sex scene was awkward and honestly, this bear town was weird. Also, the book promo from the author’s other book was just the icing on the cake.

The dynamics between the fav and the guys is already very sexually charged. It is a rockstar romance so I’m kind of excited for that. There was a large emphasis on how much of a disappointment the fmc’s dad is. Also about suicide and other triggers. Overall I liked it.

This was the first contemporary book in this anthology and I’m pleasantly surprised. I did get annoyed that the author shoved down our throats that the doc was soooo happy all the time and tried to make the best out of everything. I am intrigued to where the story is going to go. There is a weird stalker situation which will be interesting.

So, I get that this is a short book. However, there needs to be more character development. The conflict with Clover being raped by her fathers beta should have been addressed more. Especially because of her daughter Rose. The guys Black, Price and Gunn weren’t really the focus. Setting wasn’t developed. I was underwhelmed

I liked how protective and possessive the guys were for Zoe. Also, I liked that they were honestly crazy and psycho for her. One guy just snapped another guys neck. Also, I liked learning about some of the guys families like Tien. Also, learning the headmaster is Ryes dad. Overall, sooooo intrigued

I’m actually really excited for this book to come out. I like that this is an academy romance and that there are soul mates and childhood best friends all rolled into one. I definitely felt the romance between the characters. I feel like there is going to be mm. Zoe needs to get with the program with being a witch.

I didn’t like that Poppy was a single parent. Yes, let’s go representation but I personally don’t enjoy reading it. Overall, not a fan of this book. Also, the ending of the guys learning that she is their mate was anti climactic

The transition between primrose and poppy was jarring. I want to know what event happened that made her escape her mating. The murder mystery was boring because it was totally on the back burner. The romance wasn’t that great tbh. Yes, I love star kissed mates but they weren’t acting like they couldn’t stay away from each other.
