i read this in 5th grade and loved it so i thought i’d read it again🥳so good and can’t wait to reread it all(sooooo nostalgic)

Now that The girl still wants too leave but there is a war going on she finally escaped! the war proceeded to get worse and she got a chance to escape. Now she is trying to get on a train to go away from home.

I think the genre of the book " THE WAR THAT SAVED MY LIFE" is historical fiction. It takes place in world war two which is a historical event. In the book, characters often mention real life historical figures such as Hitler. Although the book has historically accurate events the story is fiction. The story could have happened but its not historically proven, making this book historical fiction.
