Status Updates From Mevrouw Dalloway

i have a book that's been sitting in my house for ages. it looked really generic and boring. i never heard of the author, i never looked at the back. it has some goofy real-person major motion picture cover. turns out it's based on this book, which IS REALLY GOOD. guess i have to read it now.

woolf is honestly really cool. her writing style is hella old fashioned but the issues she writes about are so modern.

This is gonna be long and painful

"Did it matter then, she asked herself, walking towards Bond Street, did it matter that she must inevitably cease completely; all this must go on without her; did she resent it; or did it not become consoling to believe that death ended absolutely?"
