Though it was published 70 years ago, this may be the most important book I’ve read this year. It’s pretty eye opening, neither shying away from the horror of what the Nazis did, nor dehumanizing them to the point where you can’t believe it could ever be your friends, your family, your neighbors, or even you. Scary stuff.
