Status Updates From Paranoid

History doesn't repeat itself, but it sure does rhyme. In some ways, Harper sneaking out might have been a blessing in disguise. But in others, it's a dark warning of what's to come. But yet I can't help but wonder... What if Harper and Xander didn't hear the cries for help? What if that line had been crossed?

Well fuck. Another one's dead. But who was that man? Was it Annessa's secret lover? Her husband Clint Cooper? Or someone else? And it looks like Dylan's situation might not be as bad as I thought, but Harper still seems at high risk of making a mistake that can't be undone.

(reads previous page) Well damn... that's not good. Whoever this criminal is, they can't be good. Rachel seems to think that the figure is male (whether it be true or not), but of the men, who would have the means and the motive to target her? Could it be Lila's husband (aka Cade Ryder's father?). Also, Kayleigh, you really need to get your love life together.

Poor Xander. He is one unlucky young man. Also, why was Dylan in the room playing a violent video game on his laptop while Xander and Harper were making out? Regardless, Violet is actually dead. Also, there seems to be a lot of characters for one book. Kayleigh wanted Cade, and made several bad decisions previously. Lucas was named after Luke. But are the murders of Luke and Violet even connected?

So far Lila and Mercedes (aka Mercy) are still the top suspects in my mind. But what is Dylan doing? Stealing drugs for money? And what secrets could Harper be hiding from her mom Rachel?

So far Lila is my prime suspect. She seems to be living a pretty good life. And Rachel and Cade miss each other, even though neither one wants to admit it.
