OK, almost 2 hours into the book the time that it took to explain the magic and what she does in the history of the wedding gown do you really have to do that that also feel like I was dragging, but I understand and see so for the world building aspect, magic system building understanding it’ll be good
The French lady was a kid when France was taken by the Nazis

The French lady used to be in the fashion business selling wedding dresses. She said that her families sell wedding dresses and they wear the chosen ones to do this and that they were always taught that their job is to make sure other people are happy and happy endings were for them. It was for others.

OK, they decided to do a dual view and jump timelines and I’m not a huge fan of this present day timeline in Boston so far
What they’re talking about is not interesting. They’re really dragging out the beginning of the introduction of this new character and I’m also not a fan of the readers voice.
It’s just the beginning feels like it’s dragon compared to the beginning of the French woman.

I’m only four minutes into the audiobook, but I feel like I’m really going to enjoy it and enjoy the riding so far a lot of analogies in comparison but I think I’m enjoying how it’s written

I really start books based on vibes with no background knowledge so I did not know this was going to be a Hitler war Nazi time frame zone kind of book
In other news, the person reading this audiobook has a very strong accent and at first I thought it was like an Asian accent, but they’re talking about being in France and Paris. I’m not sure what the accent is.
