I find it weird that Penelope cares more about these 12 maids than her own son. I swear Half this book is about these maids and that’s great they are really important but so is Telemachus! HELLO?! Like why is Telemachus made to be this little asshole when it’s the maids who don’t do as Penelope asks them. And she’s like “Telemachus if you don’t do as I say I’m gonna kms.” ID BE MAD TOO TF

Why did Atwood make Telemachus such a brat?! I imagine this is how Penelope thinks her son is looking at her but I swear he loves her so much more than what Atwood is saying.
