I love that she finds out she has a secret brother and within 2 pages has come to terms with it, trusts him because he showed her a birth certificate since those clearly can’t be doctored and is making him swear to never leave her. SMH

Wtf is going on with this side plot with the fighting ring, mafia princess, and secret brother. The kidnapping scenario to find the friend. If the girl is fighting and going to college why would they need to kidnap winter to find her? That whole plot makes no sense. Winter knows someone is trying to assassinate her, kidnap her, and stalking her but still chooses to sneak out !

Since when did this girl become her bff that she would die to protect? I’m guessing this is a plot device for a spin off series. I don’t care about this character that you’ve placed S a plot device

This girl has made plenty of questionable decisions but I’m really quite upset at this point. The main character annoys me to no end with her idiocracy

I need a word count for the word “asshole” the conversation between the girls is so cringy. “Hey bitch!” “Shut up bitch!” And the only conversation between winter and mason is “you whore!” “You asshole!”

How is she confused about all these reports to the sec and fbi? Didn’t her mother threaten to make allegations and ruin the company if she moved out!? Why is she surprised and confused about what is going on?!

I hate to rehash this but why is she always forgetting her phone? She is ceo of a billion dollar business and continuously loses her phone? And thinks nothing of changing her social media passwords? I really am thinking someone is going to hack the cloud and post some stuff about her. Also how did she leave her phone? Didn’t she answer it? Why not have someone go with her to the building given what’s going on ?

Marnie is like a second mom and Martin was her second dad? Why did we be we really hear about either of them until halfway through book 2? If this was her second family how did she not find out he was not only missing but dead until the day prior to the funeral? Why didn’t her assistant know who Marnie was if Martin was her dads best friend? Plot hole and tragic event device

I appreciate having duel pov but it is very repetitive to literally read the same scene twice word for word…… like every single chapter is like this

Winter has “friends” why is she so desperate to be friends with this “new” girl? Seems weird ….

I actually want winter to be with Grayson at this point. I know readers would have a fit, but I would prefer the two of them to be together.
