The first short story is called “Caught in the Siren’s Wake” by Audrey M. Stevens.
It was a good story, but it ended right as the main action started. It left many questions. Did Charon die? Did they succeed in stealing the boat? What happened after? Not a satisfying conclusion, if you call it that.

Caught in the Siren's Wake - 2/5
Kind of interesting concept but could have used more time to explore and the themes are a little too strong for my preferences.

The short stories get better but still leave you with some questions... like I want a full book on some of these because the story interests me so much.

I'm not sure how I feel. Not bad short stories, but the way some of them just end leaving you with more questions than answers makes it a bit odd.
