I decided I will keep this book despite the wrongs I mentioned in the previous update. Her husband, David, while I wanted to strangle him for kissing after being married, not only begged God's forgiveness, he also went straight home, told his wife and begged her forgiveness in a way I was very satisfied with. However, I highly encourage girls 17/18+ to read this, as I feel the scenes are not suited for younger girls

The only person I feel sorry for is Marcia. Poor girl is trying so hard to do the right thing despite all opposition, including her husband, who kissed his fiancee that jilted him and both of them married! Albeit, he did lecture himself immensely afterwards and begged God for forgiveness, so I will forgive him just for that, but I was so shocked at something like that that I decided to not keep this book when done

I really love this book so far! Marcia is willing to lay everything aside for the sake of protecting a good man her sister has jilted and is feeling the weight of the world against her! It's giving me Esther vibes in the sense of her doing the right thing on her own, I'm praying this stays a good story! I have no interest in the third book, just this and the second, Phoebe Deane

Super excited to read this book, I read Phoebe Deane, as that was my first book by this author and I absolutely adore it, so now I'm going to finally read the trilogy through, starting with this book
