Status Updates From The Duke and the Spitfire (...

Things are moving fast, but the writing is such that I am not feeling the connection between the hero and heroine, which is a bit disappointing. Not sure what the hiccup will be.

I will get back to this, but I find the narrator's voice for the duke to be a little offputting. It's like she slowly embarks upon a Yorkshire accent as if she needs to think about it while she's narrating - so it doesn't seem to flow.
