ok, is fun

I like Cat but she is very judgmental. I know that should change while she learns about the paranormal world, so I'm trying to push past it.

This was entertaining, and much less innocent than I was expecting. It did seem plot-holey though while reading, but by the end the issues were weakly explained away, so now I'm not sure how to feel about them. Seems like a couple storylines could've been better written. The twist was unexpected though. And fast-paced and action filled. But bringing the shard to a club made zero sense. Hate the incubus stipulations.

I'm all for newer books sexually empowering women... But I don't think having your female characters objectify all the men is the way to go about it. Because honestly, if it would be upsetting for some random guy to make those comments about a female, then the females shouldn't be making them about random guys either. Making lewd comments about acquaintances, strangers, etc., is just gross.
