Status Updates From Artemisia

Picking this back up because I want to get it off my currently reading shelf. I’m not loving it. The artwork isn’t lovely. The subject matter is also ugly (Artemisia was a real woman, an excellent artist, who was abused by her teacher in Renaissance Rome), but important. I want to read it for the story. Should be quick.

Artemisia Gentileschi is one of my favourite artists of all times, who had a tragic story and it hurts to read it. She's an amazing figure and her art is incredible
