Status Updates From The Book of Accidents

The way chuck writes female protagonists sometimes drives me a bit crazy. I appreciate his effort to subvert expectations of women written in horror, but the characters tend to be stripped of any traditionally feminine traits. It comes off as you can only be a strong woman if you only possess masculine traits. Women are not one sided and you can be a strong woman while also having femininity too! It’s unrealistic.
