I get she’s not a detective but how stupid do you have to be to continue to tell suspects and witness information on a case that your trying to clear your name in

Their banter is rather immature. Not endearing, not kick your feet cute or sexually tense but childish

This is a very short read and Stormlight is broken into parts, so to lower my reading list for future endeavors I'm gonna try getting to the end of this sooner than later. Anyway, the main character seriously needs to get her priorities straight. This is a murder mystery not lousy rom-com, stop pairing people up including yourself with a man you "hate!"

Gonna read this in addition to book 4 of Stormlight, because... Apparently I need stupid juice in addition to real art! Anyway, turns out our murder for the evening may have been because the killer(s) wanna turn the library into a bookstore because money. Capitalism is bad until you use it, kids! And remember to use it maliciously!

So, womanizing bartender, bar owner, librarian's best friend, librarian's ex, and doctor are our suspects so far. Was it the ex...? Yes it was... Or maybe bartender and bar owner, it's possible a woman was involved. (bar owner is a woman)

I can't help feeling that if the main character did turn out to be the murderer, it would make for a more interesting story. A fortune teller who kills people to prove her predictions are true sounds really enticing. But, no, this is a series and it's too obvious 😔

I wanna buy a supposedly haunted house with a creepy cat and give them both stupid names at age 29 too! 😩
