Status Updates From L'Art de la guerre

It’s your fault if your troops don’t listen, and use you heard of tricking your enemy? I’m sure this was a great use at the time but it’s wild that so many men claim this is their favorite book. Maybe because it’s so short?

Picked this for one of my “Widening the Canon” reads for 2026; focusing on reading or listening to some classic / past literature that isn’t by Western European or United States white men. I’ve never been super interested in it, but it’s famous and short so a good chance to get a bit of a jump start on the goal. I’ll be checking out others that interest me more in the future this year.
