Status Updates From Moments Asunder (Star Trek:...

This is a pretty short read... But now I know it's borderline FanFiction, I'm just not too keen on reading the hell out of it 😫 I'm almost done with my challenge, I just have to soldier through this book!

Alright, I think the plot's finally taking off, we've caught up with everyone and now Wesley is dead. On to save time itself!

It took damn near 200 pages to introduce any characters from shows other than TNG lol

I like Star Trek: Next Generation, so that's why I picked this up at a small comic book store... What I don't like is Time Travel... Also, so far this feels like FanFiction a little bit, because after doing some research (haven't finished the show 😢) a character that's the product of two characters that have that will-they-won't-they relationship doesn't exist in the canon universe.

I’ve learned from this and that Star Wars book that I don’t like when supplemental media of long-running franchises add OCs that will never appear in the mainline series and therefore I have no reason to get attached to… otherwise this is fun

I love that the later canon of both the shows and the books makes Wesley become Star Trek’s Doctor Who

I expected this trilogy to be like Star Trek’s Avengers, and it is, but I didn’t realize it’s more like Star Trek’s Avengers ENDGAME, the culmination of like 30 other novels. Thank god the book opens with a preface that explains everything important that has happened since the shows ended.
