Status Updates From River to Redemption

Haven’t cried since the time jump, but it’s still aight. It’s good. I like seeing the tornness of the new pastor—very relatable. I think Christian historical fiction is also helpful for me because even if I have no idea what they’re saying when they’re speaking about day-to-day life (it’s not that bad, it’s a me problem), the Scripture I can understand!

Is this the book that's going to make me enter my historical fiction era??? Only time will tell. I did want to cry within the first chapter though. Child Adria is so darling 😭😭 I've been around so many children as of late. We shall see how it goes now that we're flashing 12 years later 👀👀
