Status Updates From Offline

If you like a good coming of age book, this is for you. It is about a girl named Annie who finds herself addicted to social media. What happens from there is a journey of finding out about herself and her friendships. It really helps you see what you might be missing out of when you are sucked into any social media app.

This week in my book, Annie had some conflict with her friend Caitlin. Annie did not like how she was friends with Milo. Annie has had a few conflict unresolved such as her situation with Jameson, Caitlin, and Isco since he tried to kiss her. later in the story, she finally started solving most of them and I feel like she is finally getting back on track with being a good person.

This week a lot happened in my book. First of all, the girls started becoming more public with their challenge which caused more people to join in on it. When they had more people, they all decided to do something that would involve them in the real world, so they went to an abandoned town. Annie and this boy Isco who she met at the dog shelter had been growing more close. She did not want to do anything though.

This week in my book Annie found out more about herself. She found out different way to help distract her from the online world such as writing her friends letter, going on walks, and volunteering at places. Her friends have grown closer and found out more about themselves too. Her friend Caitlin was brave enough to tell her dad about wanting to join the football team too.

This week a lot happened in my book. At first, the main character Annie and her boyfriend Jameson were the picture perfect couple everywhere. She loved him and he loved her. Her friend group was even perfect too, but that took a turn when Annie's boyfriend broke up with her in a video from his friends online. She could not stop crying and the comments were humiliating. She didn't understand why this was going on.
