Notes:
(1) So, this was uncomfortable. It's about serial revenge castration, and a "heroine" who wears a cape made of the... spoils of war.
- It's not so much the premise, I'm used to harsher stuff out of this series, but the fact it's tween girls doing the emasculating.
- The cutesy art only amplifies the wrongness of it all.
(2) This whole volume just screams fan-fiction.

Notes:
(1) The first issue basically has the plot of a three-panel comic strip.
- It's padded out with lots of violence, which isn't even visually interesting since it looks like a cross between a webtoon and a kids' coloring book.
(2) The art, while technically proficient, simply isn't suitable.
- The artist also has zero sense of sequential storytelling nor panel layouts.

Notes:
(1) This will be my first Kevin Smith comic, though I've seen nearly all his films.
(2) Flipping through this, my first thought was this looks a lot like "DC Superhero Girls."
- Lo and behold, having read creator bios, it turns out the artist was that franchise's lead designer.
- No comic credits, though, so it'll be interesting how "storybook" this comic book looks.
