Listening to the audio book, cringing my heart out but stinking with it for the culture

I’m finally actually reading this and I’m a few pages in. It shocks me how much we have/had normalised predatory men, even as teens. This is from both the authors perspective in writing it (who was 13 at the time) and a generation who were reading it at a similar age.
