Status Updates From Pursuing Miss Hall

I get there is miscommunication, it in real life do we deliberately miscommunicate as much as the characters in books. Is that just the easy way to write intrigue into a plot?

Gosh…it is amazing to me how connected I am to these characters in such Short amount of time. I FEEL the ache of watching a best friend pursue someone who is being asked to pursue others for an advantageous marriage. I’m made for regency era drama

A typical plotline of "guy is in love with his girl best friend and has to prove to her that he is the perfect match before she's swooped up by someone else" but I'm also so ready for it because I already love him as a character. Also this is a short book so it'll be done quick rip
