I have discovered that this book is the 17th of a series and at least one review suggested that this was not a good place to start this particular series! Oh well, I already have the audible book so the path is predetermined. I picked this one up as something by this favorite author of mine that I had not read. Probably the Audible book was on sale or something.

Omg it’s so long and dull cos Parker Louis and angel aren’t in it as much as usual.

First book since the whisperers , book 9, that I’m getting a bit bored with the sheer amount of unnecessary detail and backstory . The English coppers and two juvenile delinquents are just totally boring parts of the story which would benefit from a severe edit.
