I wouldn't have expected an undergrad neuroscience textbook to keep me so entertained, but I'm really hooked on this. In the first two chapters, the oversimplified pharma ad synapse model I'd previously been exposed to, with triangles docking on mystery circle receptors, was completely blown out of the water and replaced with membrane potentials, ion channels, and an appreciation of how much research is yet undone.
