the reviews on this book are so emotionally charged its hilarious to see someone so upset about a humanities book and their premises since most are not concise as drenched in opinion
overall I am enjoying the perspective

"I detect here... a growing anti-intellectual attitude among the students. There is no contraction between intelligence and revolution."

This is an excellent assessment. Basically, schools pushed equal access to technology while those who actually created the technology limited it in their own homes. They knew it did not produce critical thinkers. It produced overly-emotionally driven young adults. These same students were not raised consuming classical literature, art and music that produce citizens with backbones who could endure challenges.
