Okay, I thought it before when we saw the reaper, but I think that she's part reaper. She seems to have similar abilities as the reapers, her blood tastes and acts like death, and her power lets her become incorporeal.

Look, I could keep going…it isn’t a horrible book, but I really dislike Ava and how feels like nothing is happening or taking forever to happen. She’s a cranky brat and things don’t completely make sense. I’d rather stop than dig deeper into inconsistencies.
