I freaking love Nicholas, honestly more than Hatcher(i know they're the same person), he truly just wanted to protect hattie, he didn't need her to love him, he just didn't want her to be stuck with the rabbit, his fight with grinder was kind of anticlimactic, but it's fine, i'll rewrite a more violent one myself, as always

I'm loving Nicholas' story more than Alice's if we are so honest here, I wish we knew more about 16 year old Alice because I feel like there are still missing pieces but it's nice to actually get to know Hatchers story and what made him choose to start fighting people like Grinder/Walrus

I kind of miss Cheshire, he seems to really care about all of these girls, he is the only good Magician Alice ever met, even if he isn't her definition of good, he's less bad which is good enough for me, he wants stories to tell and he genuinely keeps the girls safe when they are in his district
