This book took a long time to read, but well worth it. The author is very thorough in exploring how she became interested in this family.
The main thought I came away with is the deep love and devotion of this family. Yes, lots of bad influences, habits, etc, but for the most part, I believe it is better for families to stay together with supportive help.
