Interesting reading such early Marvel. Plots as daft as early FF. Art is Kirby with wonderful composition. Just had Russians fighting Hulk and he still in fully articulate phase

Interestingly Hulk is far more articulate, sinister, and is tied to the night time

First two read. First was origin issue, and the Gargoyle was ok. Second is the Toad Men, typical of the era where much of the 'strange tales' type stories merged with main superhero like FF, Thor, and Hulk.

I thought when they said he was flying he was leaping in a single bound type way he is actually flying, this all seems a bit odd.

Seems like Stan forgot how Banner turns into the Hulk mid issue. Is this really how bad the rest of the run is going to be?

Why are we starting off with a extra-terrestrial enemy? It just doesn’t seem like a logical progression, this feels like it should come later down the line and not in the 2nd issue.

Wouldn’t it make more sense for the Hulk came out during the day? Since the sun emittes rays which then could trigger his gamma? It would also make it so that he isn’t copying Jeckal and Hyde.
