Status Updates From Middlemarch

Just now learned that Virginia Woolf loved this book. I'm so predictable, it's embarrassing. She's right, though. While I love the romance scenes, the politics is definitely the best part of this novel. I've read a lot of classics yet Miss Eliot writes such good political intrigue that I can believe all these people have existed, and that all their discussions have taken place at some point in history.

I take it back, I do not ship Dodo and Will. He sees her as art, she is a human
